Journey to another planet 25 / 9 / 06

Well, compared to the 23hr journey to the Bahamas, the journey to Iceland was a breeze. Got off the plane and I suggested we go to duty free to get some booze, T was totally pulling his face, but once he saw alcohol prices in the city he was glad I got my wine in duty free. Compared to the huge fancy posh rooms in Vegas & Bahamas, this one was very basic & tiny.. But for a girl who grew up holidaying in cheap boarding houses in Blackpool, I'm not that fussy. The bed was comfy & room clean. Telly had not nowt on.. I didn't care but T seemed disappointed. It said in the hotel description 'sky tv' which means news channel. I think he wanted the full works like we have at home :-) Unable to see what the place is like as we arrive as it is dark, and we go straight to bed.
